Greek life and our chapter are still far from perfect. We still have a long way to go, and these achievements are only the beginning. We believe that it is important to be transparent about how we are approaching DEI efforts, and are proud to showcase some of our DEI accomplishments so far:

First Panhellenic microaggression/implicit bias training (for all chapters)
Tri Delta had a 98% attendance rate
Recruitment reform
Focus on question topics that avoid socioeconomic bias and instead orient towards “real” conversations about areas of interest
Changed language in recruitment rules to be more inclusive
Executive officers attended two trainings by Social Responsibility Speaks (DEI experts)
Panhellenic wide fundraiser for the Loveland Foundation
2021
Elected a VP DEI, two DEI Chairs (internal and external), and a DEI board to sit on each officer team
Our first recruitment without matching or a legacy policy, and including inclusive language and DEI trainings to have more values-based conversations
Mandatory Black History Month presentation by Tish Norman hosted by USC panhellenic
Training by Lawrence Ross for chapter presidents and the VP DEI
Raised $12,240 for the Innocence Project with Kappa Alpha Theta and Kappa Kappa Gamma
Hosted a conversation with an exoneree and a policy analyst for the Innocence Project
